As a break from thinking about when / if it’s going to rain, wild fires, and the other delights of this strange and baking summer I’m looking towards the more temperate region of October and the Dobunni Festival in Stroud. Tickets are now available and there is a stellar line-up of poets taking part, Pascale Petit, Hannah Copley, Rhian Elizabeth… actually, too many to mention. Oh, and I’ll be there (I’d better give myself a mention) talking about the wonders of language and poetry with Martha Sprackland and Alun Hughs chaired by Philip Rush. So, check it out and I hope you’ll grab me to say ‘Hi’.
