International Book & Pamphlet Competition

Today I signed-off on the final edits of my first book with my wonderful editors, Ann and Peter Sansom. As of this evening Didicoy is wending its way to the printer in readiness for its launch on March 3rd. I’d like to send a huge ‘Thank You’ to everyone at The Poetry Business for their tireless help in bringing this project to fruition.

Didicoy can be pre-ordered through The Poetry Business website, Amazon, and W.H.Smith, Waterstones and wherever you buy your poetry fixes.

I’m hugely excited to announce that I am one of the winners of the 2022 International Book and Pamphlet Competition organised by The Poetry Business. My collection, Didicoy, will be published in February ’23 alongside collections by the three other winners: Jon Miller Past Imperfect, Future Tense; Zoë Walkington I hate to be the one to tell you; and Luke Samuel Yates The Mystery Shopper.

I’m overwhelmed by the wonderful comments of the competition judges Romalyn Ante and Jonathan Edwards. It’s at times like this that I know my poetry has reached out and spoken to someone.

Surely that’s what every poet wants?
